Appointment cancellation process:

To cancel an appointment for a medical service, the patient must contact our clinic or medical center by telephone or e-mail. For this purpose, we provide you with the contact information below:

The patient must provide the necessary information to identify his or her appointment, such as the patient's name, patient identification number and the date and time of the appointment he or she wishes to cancel.

 

If the cancellation of the appointment is made within a period shorter than that indicated in the second point, the Company reserves the right to claim the payment of the visit in accordance with the provisions of Point Four below, except in cases of force majeure (*).

 

(*) Force majeure is considered to be: any unforeseeable and unavoidable circumstance that alters the conditions of attendance to the appointment, such as: personal illness, accident, urgent hospitalization or death of a family member or friend, as well as any travel related to work. The following shall not be considered force majeure: traffic jams, non-work-related travel or any type of unforeseen circumstance that is not of an emergency nature.

 

Deadline for notification:

A minimum cancellation notice of 72 hours prior to the scheduled appointment date and time is required.

Cancellation will be effective once confirmed by our scheduling staff.

 

Rescheduling of appointments:

  1. a. If the patient needs to change the date and time of the appointment instead of canceling it, the patient is encouraged to inform us with 72 hours tomake the necessary arrangements.

Rescheduling is subject to appointment availability and restrictions may apply depending on the medical service required.

If the modification of the appointment is made in a period shorter than that indicated in the previous paragraph, the Company reserves the right to claim the payment of the previous visit, in accordance with the provisions of Point Four below, unless force majeure causes are alleged (*).

 

(*) Force majeure is considered to be: any unforeseeable and unavoidable circumstance that alters the conditions of attendance to the appointment, such as: personal illness, accident, urgent hospitalization or death of a family member or friend, as well as any travel related to work. Consequences of late cancellation or missed appointment:

Late cancellations or missed appointments (without prior notice) may result in additional charges in the amount of twenty-five (25) Euros to be deducted from the amount initially paid by the patient in accordance with the Company's Return and Refund Policy.

 

Likewise, and at the Company's discretion, the penalty amount may be waived if such cancellation has not caused any damage to the Company and a future appointment will be scheduled. If it is impossible to schedule a future appointment with the patient, the additional amount indicated in paragraph a) above shall be charged.

 

Said penalty amount may be modified at the Company's discretion, therefore, to confirm the amount of the additional charge for cancellation without notice, you must access the consultation of said policy.

These measures are taken to ensure efficient use of medical resources and to enable other patients to access our services.

 

Unliquidated obligations:

Prior to cancellation, the patient must honor any outstanding payments related to the scheduled medical appointment or service.

In the event that pre-appointment tests or examinations are required, the patient must ensure that they are completed prior to cancellation.

 

Policy changes:

Air Health Aeromedicine reserves the right to modify or update this appointment cancellation policy at any time. Patients will be notified of any changes by direct communication or posting on our website.

 

 

Return and Reimbursement Policy for Medical Services

Refunds:

Refunds will only be granted in specific circumstances and at the discretion of our clinic or medical center.

Refunds will be considered in the following cases:

If an overpayment or duplicate payment has been made in error.

If payment has been made for a service that has not been provided due to force majeure circumstances as defined in the Company's Cancellation Policy.

To request a refund, the patient should contact our billing team at the following e-mail address: administracion@airhealth.es and provide the necessary documentation, such as payment receipts and service details.

 

 

Reimbursement request process:

The patient must submit a written request to our mail administracion@airhealth.es to request a refund, specifying the reasons for the request and attaching the relevant documentation.

Our billing team will review the application and determine eligibility for reimbursement.

The patient will be notified of the outcome of the reimbursement request once a decision has been made, always within 30 working days from the date on which the communication is received.

 

Reimbursement exclusions:

No refunds will be granted in the following cases:

  1. Medical services already provided and used by the patient.
  2. Appointment cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice will not receive a refund, unless due to exceptional circumstances at the discretion of our clinic.
  3. Appointment cancellations made with less than 72h will have a penalty of 25 EUROS. In which case, they will be deducted from the initial amount.
  4. Circumstances beyond our control, such as delays or interruptions caused by unforeseen events or emergencies.

 

Repayment term:

Once a refund has been approved, reasonable efforts will be made to process it as soon as possible, and no later than 30 working days from the issuance of the resolution on the refund request.

The method of reimbursement will be determined by our clinic. Information necessary to process the reimbursement, such as bank details or shipping address, may be requested. Remind you that, as will be indicated in the Twelfth and Thirteenth Points below all communications of personal data - all kinds, but especially reinforcing the protection relating to clinical and banking data - of the patient are treated in accordance with the Organic Law 3/2018 of December 5, 2018, on the Protection of Personal Data and guarantee of digital rights, as well as any other European or international regulations that may be applicable.

 

Policy changes:

We reserve the right to modify or update this return and refund policy at any time. Patients will be notified of any changes by direct communication or posting on our website.
